GETTING TO ACAPULCO
Acapulco International Airport (Juan Álvarez International Airport, ACA) has long been important in the development of tourism in southern Mexico. It is the largest international airport in the country's southern Pacific region, and one of the largest air facilities in Mexico. Frequent flights are available daily from Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City as well as less frequent flights from other Mexican, American, and Canadian cities.
Getting to and from the Acapulco International Airport
Acapulco “Juan N. Alvarez” International Airport is a ten-minute drive to The Fairmont Acapulco Princess and a 35 minute drive to downtown Acapulco. The following airlines serve Acapulco: Aeroméxico, Mexicana de Aviación, America West, Continental Airlines, American Airlines and Aviacsa.
The Symposium bureau does not provide airport pick up to the hotel.

Driving Directions
- Leaving the airport, take the only main avenue, Boulevard de las Naciones
- Stay on this boulevard for five miles (approximately ten minutes)
- You will then see the entrance for The Fairmont Acapulco Princess
Airport Shuttle
Transportation can be arranged through Maritur, the in-house travel agency for both The Fairmont Acapulco Princess. Shuttle costs start at approximately USD 25.00 (MXN 279.00) one way and are subject to change without notice.

Taxis and Limousines
Taxis are readily available at the arrivals level of Acapulco International Airport. The rate is approximately USD 15.00 (MXN 167.00) one way. Please note, we have been advised that it is more secured to book your taxi inside the airport.
